Flakes is an experiment in expressing identity. All the participating artists frame their daily existence through the lens of a camera and share these images to celebrate times passed. Everyday we produce and publish one image that captures the essence of our personal experiences. We also add one line of text to every visual we create.

Flakes was initiated by Eddie Westbroek in november 2003. Since march 2006 we are a group of 29 artists spread out over the Globe, located in both Stockholm, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Oslo, Örebro, Malaga, London, Ängelholm, San Fransisco, Buenos Aires, Mexico City, A Coruña, The Hague, Tokyo, Fribourg, Montreal, Manchester, Kiev, Leiden and New York.
